THE COTTAGE
Stable Cottage lies in the rural English village of Potterne. It is located in a conservation area within a private garden, adjacent to a stream and open countryside. It is ideally sited for touring all the local attractions such as Potterne's 13th century church, historic pub, walking areas and the stone circles at Avebury and Stonehenge. THE AREA
We are close to the Kennet & Avon Canal with its stunning Cean Hill flight of locks. You can explore the ancient cities of Salisbury and Bath or our local historic medieval towns of Devizes and Marlborough. The cottage is in the centre of the Wiltshire countryside where you can have a short stroll or a long hike through the woods and pastures.
The cottage itself is historic, being a 17th century converted stable with exposed oak beams. It is pleasantly decorated and furnished with a well-equiped kitchen. Nearest pub, restaurant and shop 1/4 mile. Nearest supermarket 2 miles.

Lounge, kitchen/dining-room, 1 double bedroom, shower room with toilet. All fuel is included, electric cooking, fridge, microwave, digital colour TV, video, CD radio cassette, electric heaters, duvets, shared garden with garden furniture. Private parking for one car. Welcome tray. Pets and smoking not permitted. Sleeps two (maximum).
